Tender Description:
The U.S. Embassy Tbilisi is currently in the planning phase of a project involving the construction/renovation of a swimming pool in Tbilisi, Georgia, Dighomi 9. We are seeking information from qualified swimming pool contractors to assist in the development of a Request for Proposal (RFP) and to better understand the capabilities, experience, and services available in the market.
We would appreciate your response to this RFI to help us assess potential contractors for this project. Please provide detailed responses to the questions below:
1. Company Profile:
- Full company name, address, and contact information.
- Year established and number of years in swimming pool construction.
- Licenses, certifications, and insurance coverage.
- Number of employees (technical and non-technical).
2. Experience and Capabilities:
- Types of swimming pools constructed (e.g., residential, commercial, Olympic-size, custom designs).
- Notable past projects (with brief descriptions, locations, and client references if available).
- Experience with sustainable/energy-efficient pool systems.
- Capability for ongoing maintenance and service contracts.
3. Project Approach (See attached Scope of Work and Photos for Details)
- Design and construction methodology.
- Typical project timelines and milestone scheduling.
- Quality control and safety procedures.
- Subcontractors (if applicable).
4. Technical Information:
- Pool construction materials and systems typically used.
- Filtration, heating, and sanitation systems offered.
- Integration with landscaping or site features.
5. Budget and Pricing:
- Typical cost range per square meter or pool type (rough estimate).
- Cost drivers and factors that affect pricing.
6. Additional Information:

Site Visit: 11:00am April 29.
Interested contractors shall submit names and ID numbers electronically at tbilisigsoprocurement@state.gov no later than 12:00pm April 28 to enter the U.S. Embassy compound.
Deadline for submitting proposals electronically at tbilisigsoprocurement@state.gov is May 7, 2025.
