Tender Description:

WWF Caucasus Programme Office (Id. Code 203845964) (referred to as the “CLIENT”) is announcing a tender and inviting qualified suppliers (companies and individuals) (hereinafter referred to as “BIDDER”) to submit proposals for provision of works for restoring and construction of the road to Triala Lakes, Adigeni Municipality (hereinafter referred to as “BID”).

The National Forestry Agency, with the technical support of the consortium between Zavita d.o.o, Stritih d.o.o and WWF Caucasus are implementing a project Measures for the Sustainable Use of Forest in Adigeni Municipality – Phase 2. The purpose of the project is to improve the sustainable use of forests and to improve the socio-economic conditions of the local population. Slovenian International Development Cooperation funds the project. Detailed description is defined in attached Terms of Reference.

The Triala Lakes, known for their scenic beauty and ecological significance, is a key destination for eco-tourism and a natural habitat for various wildlife species. However, access to the lakes is currently limited due to a lack of adequate road infrastructure. The development of an access road to Triala Lakes is essential for improving accessibility for tourists, researchers, and local communities while minimising environmental impacts. This ToR outlines the requirements for the design, planning, and construction of this gravelled road.

WWF Caucasus is seeking proposals from qualified organisations to construct and restore a road to Triala lakes. The Terms of Reference (ToR) outlines the project requirements, scope of work, tender procedures, and timeline for interested organisations to submit their proposals.
