What is the functional purpose of the rooms/zones on each level (production halls, warehouses, administrative areas, laboratories, utility rooms, etc.)? 1.2. Is a room schedule (explication) with designations and areas available? 1.3. What is the ceiling height (floor to lowest structural point) on each level? 1.4. What is the roof/ceiling structure type (to determine luminaire mounting method)? 2. ZONE CLASSIFICATION & SAFETY 2.1. Are there any explosion-hazardous or fire-hazardous zones on site? If so, what classification (ATEX/IEC)? 2.2. Which zones are classified as wet/damp (washing areas, bottling lines, brewhouse, etc.)? 2.3. Are there any rooms with special requirements for dust/chemical protection (IP rating)? 2.4. Is there an existing hazardous area classification document for the facility? 3. REGULATORY FRAMEWORK 3.1. Which standards should govern the design — Georgian technical regulations, EN 12464-1, or are GOST/SP also acceptable? 3.2. Are there any Anadolu Efes corporate standards for lighting design? 3.3. Is regulatory approval required from any government authority (technical inspection, fire department)? 4. SCOPE OF DESIGN DOCUMENTATION 4.1. What design stage is required — conceptual design or detailed working documentation? 4.2. Should the project deliverables include: lighting calculations (DIALux/Relux), single-line diagrams for lighting panels, cable routing plans, cable schedule, equipment specifications, explanatory note? 4.3. What format is required — AutoCAD (DWG), Revit (RVT), PDF? Is BIM required? 5. TYPES OF LIGHTING 5.1. Which types of lighting should be included in the scope: general/task lighting, emergency lighting, evacuation lighting (EXIT signs, escape route illumination), security/standby lighting, exterior/site lighting? 5.2. Is a lighting control system required (DALI, KNX, occupancy/daylight sensors)? 6. EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE 6.1. Is there an existing lighting system in place? Is this a retrofit/upgrade or a new design from scratch? 6.2. Is data available on existing electrical panels, connection points, and available power capacity? 6.3. Can architectural drawings be provided in electronic format (DWG)? 6.4. Is a site visit possible prior to proposal submission? 7. CLIENT PREFERENCES 7.1. Are there any preferred luminaire manufacturers or brands? 7.2. Are there energy efficiency targets (W/m²)? 7.3. Will there be a separate tender for supply and installation, or is a turnkey proposal (design + supply + installation) welcome? 8. ORGANIZATIONAL MATTERS 8.1. What is the expected project timeline after contract signing? 8.2. How many review/approval stages are anticipated? 8.3. Is an advance payment available, or is payment strictly upon completion (60 days)? 8.4. What are the selection criteria — price only, or also timeline, experience, and qualifications?
